ARMIA HOME CARE SERVICES

Armia will support you to choose the right balance of services which facilitate you to stay living at home for life. We provide services based on the individual needs and cultural requirements.

Home Care Package

Home care packages are subsidised by the Australian Government to help senior Australian over 65 years age or 50 years for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander stay at their own home for longer. Home Care Packages include a wide range of services based on your level of needs (Level 1 to 4). HCP program is designed for complex needs of senior Australian who wants to live in their own home for longer. To start receiving services, you will need to register and be assessed by My Aged Care to determine your eligibility for your services.

All cost of your provider is covered by your Home Care Package which include:

  1. Package Management — 10% fee

    Your Package Management fee covers:

    • Administration required for the delivery of your Home Care Package
    • Setting up the funding subsidy through Medicare
    • Preparing financial statements (Monthly, quarterly, or annually)
  2. Care Management — 14% fee

    Care Management is an essential component of every Home Care Package, which includes

    • Care Plan development and ongoing review
    • Ensuring that services are cultural differences.
    • Supervising nursing and care staffs
    • Meeting registration requirements
    • Providing coordination services
    • Annual review of Home Care Agreement
  3. Service you receive from Helpers -76%

    At ARMIA, we provide the home care service based on your needs and home care package from 1-4 level which has been approved by the government. The following are the details of services and eligible hours calculated only for weekdays rate:

    Home Care Package Level 3 Intermediate care needs $35,138.55 per year Up to 10.5 hours Includes personal care/hygiene, medication and treatment support, social outings, transport, therapies, home modifications
    Home Care Package Level 4 High care needs $53,268.10 per year Up to 16hours Includes more hours visiting the client every day, suited to those with chronic conditions such as dementia

    Note that all rates are charged per hour and that those hours may vary depending on the type of services and the time you require the service:

    ARMIA also provides overnight care ($275 per night) and 24 hours care ($525) and Transport (with the customer) = $0.99 per KM

    If you decide to change a service provider, ARMIA will respect your choice, but you will be charged $195 from your approved package (for smooth transition).

At ARMIA we do not charge the following fees:

  • Establishment fee
  • Basic daily fee
  • Consultation fee
  • Free interpreters (TIS)
  • No income tested care fee for full pensioner.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)

The CHSP is an entry-level home support program that helps older Australian to access government-funded help in their homes and communities. Commonwealth Home Support Programme helps people live independently with a small amount of support (only 1 or 2 services).

Under the CHSP, trained assessors from Government work out what support each person needs during a face-to-face assessment in the home. Client contributions totalled around 10% of total CHSP funding.
